One of the last regattas!

The scenic Mystic Lake, located in the suburbs of Boston is hosting one of the final regattas of the year. Students from Tufts University participate in these races from Spring to Fall. This is probably one of the last beautiful warms days before Winter settles in.

This is one of the scenes I have of Boston in my mind ... I have crewed on boats about this size. Mostly they used my as ballast!

Sailing is always fun. They must be pretty cold out there this time of year.

I've heard Boston is a very interesting city. University life really boosts a city's culture and entertainment places.
I hope to visit your city in a future trip to the US.

The glint of the light on the sparkling water produces a stunning effect.

Enjoy these last warm days. Soon this beautiful lake will be frozen ;-)

FROZEN? Brrrrrrr!! I hope it doesn't happen too soon for your sake. I'd hate to have a convertible car in that weather!

I like the contrast between sea and sky. And I hope those boats don't crash into each other!

Alex, the light you've caught in this photo is almost otherworldly! What a super shot! I love the "diamonds" sparkling on the water. My husband and I used to sail with friends when we lived in San Francisco, and we had a little racing class sailboat when we lived in Berkeley. You've just reminded me that we should get out on the water here in Seattle within the next few weeks before the real cold sets in.
Hope you are not studying too hard. Enjoy the autumn!

I've sailed these waters but cruising from Florida to Maine, not racing around three buoys. But I love all kinds of boats, and this is a beautiful shot.
Bravo

If you visit Sydney Daily Snap this weekend, we're not into sailing but into kangaroo-spotting !

Not really one of the last regattas in Boston....I was out racing on Boston Harbor today. At least two clubs race all winter.
