Skating on the green

On the Boston Common is the Frog Pond Pavilion, a skating rink open to the public. It is a nice place to have a good time with your family. Of course, it is not yet cold enough for a small pond to freeze! In the background you can notice one of Boston’s famous skyscrapers, the John Hancock Tower.

Posted by Picasa

it is one of the things which I like with NYC (and thus I see that it is the same thing in Boston) these large skating rinks with the free air. In Paris, last year, they did one of them on the place of the town hall, I hope that they will start again this year. it is sympathetic nerve and conviviable. I do not know the tower John Hancock, soon a zoom.

Our city just opened one downtown, but haven't been there yet. Can't wait! It'll be fun to watch. Love your photo, esp. for what it represents.

I love this. It makes it feel much more like the holidays. Believe it or not, but L.A. has an outdoor arena downtown.

I'm just getting to your photo today under the wire before the next one comes...Phew...glad I made it! So, do you suppose you can rent skates for those of us who visit and don't bring them with us? *hint, hint* ;-)
