I took this picture from the "skywalk" observatory at the top of the Prudential tower also known as "the Pru". From there, we have an impressive view on the John Hancock tower which stands like a mirror in the landscape. We can also see in the background Boston downtown and the Common.

I always enjoy seeing pictures of reflections. This may be one of the most interesting I've seen in a long time. What a huge "canvas".
And thanks for visiting my blog.
Besides the impressive spot you chose to take the picture, the mirror effect is spectacular, it is like some kind of door of time and space open in the middle of Boston skies.
SeattleDP posed a question that I think you might have the answer to.
Everything always looks so different from above. Maybe birds have a better perspective on things than we do...Great post!
I love this shot. Boston is such a great city.
Thanks Annie, I share your opinion about reflections... As long as the windowns on the Hancock tower stay on, it's always a pleasure to look at it :-)
Carlos, I appreciate your poetical and imaginative description of the Hancock tower mirror.
Hi Eric, Yep, you were right, there is indeed duck tours in Boston
Michael, I sometimes wich I could be a bird, especially during traffic jams ;-)
Thanks Orange county, your area is great too (dry also!!) and I enjoy a lot your pics.

This photo is very good. Espeacially the reflection in the glass windows of the building shine to be part of the landscape.
Hey Alex, it looks like you're going to have lots of interesting opportunities to take photos!!!! I just read these two headlines today:
BOSTON (July 20) - The Massachusetts coast was under a storm warning Thursday as Tropical Storm Beryl swirled northward in the Atlantic Ocean, and parts of Long Island and Connecticut were told to prepare for foul weather.
BOSTON (July 20) - Gov. Mitt Romney ordered an immediate shutdown of the eastbound Ted Williams Tunnel Thursday after two problem bolts were spotted during inspections following the deadly collapse of ceiling panels in a nearby stretch of the city's Big Dig highway system.
