Massachusetts!

Before the European explorers arrived, this land was occupied by Algonquian Indians who made their home in the hills so they can have an open view of the area. Thus, they called themselves Massachusetts which means “the great hills”. The Blue Hills Reservation is a 7,000 acres park located in the South of Boston. From this summit, you can see in the distance, the prudential tower (on the left) and the John Hancock tower (on the right).

Avant que les explorateurs européens n’arrivent, cet endroit était occupé par les indiens algonquiens qui, afin d’avoir une vue dégagée sur les environs, avaient installé leur huttes sur des collines. Ils se donnèrent ainsi le nom de Massachusetts qui signifiait "les grandes collines". The Blue Hills Reservation est un parc de 7,000 acres qui se situe dans le sud de Boston. De ce sommet, on aperçoit au loin les tours Prudential (à gauche) et John Hancock (à droite).
